Coach Bo Wasurick Bio
Coach Bo is entering his 27th year of coaching high school football. This has included stops in Wisconsin, Texas, and Minnesota, with an opportunity to work with some of the most amazing young people throughout the country.

He grew up in Green Bay, where his experience working at Packer games as a child sparked his extreme passion for the sport of football. Seeing the excitement, disappointment, love, and pain that the sport can bring sparked a lifelong passion for the greatest game ever created.

Coach Bo went on to graduate with a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota. While at Minnesota, Coach Bo also played tight end for the Golden Gophers for five seasons. From there, he went on to play arena football for two years for the Green Bay Bombers.

Coach Bo started his coaching career in Wisconsin and Minnesota with stops at Seymour High School, Notre Dame Academy, and Chisago Lakes. After five years coaching in Wisconsin and Minnesota, he moved to Flower Mound, TX, to coach Texas High School Football. He spent eight years at Flower Mound High School serving as Offensive Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach, and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. During that time, the Flower Mound Offense consistently ranked as one of the top offenses in the nation, playing some of the toughest schools in the state of Texas. Bo also served in several educational positions during that time, from Business and Marketing Teacher to Director of Online Education. From there, Coach Bo had a brief stop at Rockwall-Heath High School, serving as Offensive Coordinator, Health and Strength and Conditioning (PhyEd) Teacher.

The next stop for Coach Bo was out to East Texas to serve as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for Paris Chisum School District. After three years at Chisum, Coach Bo and his family decided it was time to get their family back home to Minnesota. This brought Coach Bo to a position as Head Football Coach, Assistant Athletic Director, and Recreation/Facilities Coordinator at Jordan High School. At Jordan High School, Coach Bo created a highly competitive program, transforming a losing culture into one that strives for greatness daily. After a pair of State tournament appearances at Jordan Coach Bo took on a new challenge at Anoka High School. Coach Bo is now entering his seventh season at Anoka High School leading the Tornados football program and working as a business education teacher.

Coach Bo has been married to his wife Erin for 21 years. They have two sons Payton Jackson “PJ” (20) and Tyson Walker “Ty” (17), and two daughters, London Chandler (14) and Grayson Harper (10). The Wasuricks live in Ramsey and are excited to make a long-term home for their family in the Anoka Community.
