Adam Dehnicke

Bio

Coach Dehnicke will begin his 6th season with the Anoka Tornado football staff in 2024 with 23 years of prior experience. The first 18 at Andover High School. During his time at Andover, he was the Varsity ILB coach for the past 18 years and 13 of those as the Defensive Coordinator. He also coached Varsity Baseball for 15 years in which two of those as the Head Coach. Coach Dehnicke also was the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator the past 18 years while at Andover HS.

Coach Dehnicke grew up in Coon Rapids, MN attending Coon Rapids High School and played college football at the University of North Dakota for 5 years, his final season winning the National Championship in 2001. Coach Dehnicke is entering his 23rd year teaching Social Studies and coaching.


Coach Dehnicke and his wife Brooke live in Andover with their kids Hudson and Reese (14), Howie (8), Ruthie (2) and dogs Trooper and Obi.
